Nuremberg, 2007

Danube River Trip - Budapest / Bratislava / Vienna / Basilika Mondsee / Bike Ride / Melk / Passau / Regensburg / Nuremberg / Karlovy-Vary / Prague

It was raining the day that I toured Nuremberg, but that seemed okay because the bus toured around the city for some time before stopping to let us out. We passed the court house where the World War Two trials took place and above-ground cemeteries adorned with rows of flowers and finally stopped at a town square to view the fountain. Then on to the castle, where we could see the city from the top of the hill, and then back to another square with a vegetable and fruit market. We ate wiener schnitzel and drank the region’s beers at a local restaurant.
