One of the first photographs that I ever shot was of a natural landscape. I have been photographing our natural environment for a long time. My interest in shooting nature comes from my connection with it. I have a great sense of peace and respect that is found in the magnificent natural places on this earth. Our natural landscape puts humanity in its place. I find myself feeling small and insignificant in its presence. It bestows humility.
