British Isles
March 2008 took me back to London with my brother-in-law and my sister and a good friend. We saw most of London from the double-decker bus because of the rain. There is so much to say about this town it is hard to know where to begin. Its long history and historic buildings, still intact after enduring so much, are of great interest to me.
A large part of the city is made up of regions and areas of connecting roads that join meeting places and squares and circles. We rode in the traditional London cabs and rented a private capsule on London Eye.
We ended our visit in London with a private tour of Buckingham Palace. No ropes held us back from the original and ancient paintings of English monarchs that hung on the walls.
